The Earth Liberation Front seems to be responsible for the destruction of three model homes outside Seattle. This account refers to the ELF as “a well-known arsonist group.”
Bzzzt. Fail. ELF is a terrorist group by virtue of it using non-state sanctioned violence to secure political aims. The political aim could not be clearer from the message left behind at the seen of the fires: “Built Green? Nope BLACK! McMansions + RCD’s r not green. ELF.”
In ELF-speak RCD is short-hand for “rural clutter development.” In other words, ELF is a fan of high density development.
Update: The FBI agrees: “The FBI was investigating the fires as a potential domestic terrorism act, said FBI spokesman Rich Kolko in Washington, D.C.”
