Even people who support public schools and are anti-voucher and anti-choice are fed up with public schools. This group in Texas has formed to support legislators of both parties who are committed to improving public schools. They feel:
The future of Texas rests
in the children of today, and our public schools are the best
opportunity we have to ensure the state?s future is bright and
prosperous. Unfortunately, state legislators continue to shortchange
students by refusing to adequately fund neighborhood public schools.
But you’d think a bunch of Texans would understand poker a bit
better. They have effectively shown their cards to the educrats by
saying up front that they oppose giving public schools any competition.
Good luck winning that hand. (hat tip: TownHall.com’s C-Log).
