A bill filed by U.S. Senator John McCain (R-Ariz) would exempt people from Obamacare’s individual mandate if they live in a county that has just one Obamacare insurer offering government-approved health plans. If passed, that would apply t0 80 percent of Obamacare Exchange enrollees in North Carolina.
