One can’t help but notice the change in demeanor between yesterday’s iteration of Ben Himan and today’s. Yesterday he was quiet, diffident, soft-spoken, so much so that he repeatedly had to be asked to speak up. Today he is a forceful speaker sure of his responses, though most of them are just “yes” in response to Witt reading from Himan’s notes.
Did someone get to Himan last night? Did he get coached to improve his performance?
Also, yesterday the gist of his entire appearance was how he doubted Mangum’s charges and thought she was lying. Today he says he believed her in March. Huh?
