Not only has John Edwards lurched to the left in his quest for the Democratic presidential nomination, he’s changed his look too. Check out his Senate portrait from a few years ago, below on the left. He looks like a tousled teenager. Then look at his official campaign portrait on the right. The hair is no longer hanging down over the forehead and is not covering up the ears as much. I guess that’s what you get for $400.
But look at the photos closely again. What happened to the mole on his upper lip? Was there cosmetic surgery? Or is this PhotoShop work, or maybe creative lighting? Here’s a closeup of the lip area of the latest photo. I’ll leave it to PhotoShop experts to decide whether those pixels have been modified.
