UNC’s Law School is going to have a conference on increasing “diversity” on corporate boards, thanks to a grant from the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation.

No doubt, there will be plenty of talk about how important it is to get “differing perspectives” on corporate boards, but the truth of the matter is that, to the extent that boards matter at all, the only perspective that ought to matter is the green perspective — how to make the most money for the stockholders. The push for more diversity is a covert mission of pushing corporations deeper into the morass of “social responsibility.”
