Bannon said he passed his charts and findings on the DNA to the special prosecutors.
Now looking at his chart on the video screen. It shows only the unidentified DNA. There are 11 on the chart. All had male DNA characteristics.
He’s now been asked to go to the screen but the audio, of course, is poor because he left his microphone. He’s now talking about “the Louvre of DNA” that Mangum turned out to be (though he didn’t use those words). At least four undentified males who were not lacrosse players were found in the panty samples, he said, and two in the oral swabs.
Bannon: They had not received this information until it was included in the 1,800 pages, which they found by going through that information page by page, he said.
Bannon says Mangum said she had not had sexual contact for a week before the party, and that was with Matthew Murchison, her boyfriend. The reports showed that her claim to not have had sex in that time were clearly not true.
He said they knew Nifong would argue that there was a rape and that they just didn’t find evidence of it. “Well, they found everything,” Bannon said. This was important because the so-called vaginal swelling could easily have been caused by sexual activity and not from an alleged rape.
