The new Yellow Pages came the other day and, as usual, it provides an interesting insight into the local economy:

2012 edition: 1 1/2 inches in depth, of which 5/8 of an in inch are the actual yellow pages.
2013 edition: 1 5/16 inches in depth, of which just over 3/4 of an inch are the actual yellow pages.

So it would seem that fewer people have landlines but the overall local economy has recovered as more companies are advertising.
