Posted today at Manhattan Institute’s Minding the Campus is this essay by Daphne Patai. She is writing about the questions that her school (UMass-Amherst) thinks it proper to ask prospective candidates for faculty positions. Anyone who doesn’t fully embrace the diversity/victimization agenda (or isn’t up to faking it) is sure to get filtered out.

I think this blows to smithereens the often-heard defense that faculty hiring is only about ability and not political beliefs.
