Supporters of the explicit government take-over of health care (public option, competitive option, Fannie Med) want us to ignore the individual mandate behind the curtain that will have the same effect. Michael Cannon suggests they are playing rope-a-dope by keeping the public option out there as a way to exhaust opponents.
