The sad tale of failed federal economic policies continues, as Gallup reports that 17.3% of U.S. adults remain underemployed.

Gallup tracks daily the percentage of U.S. adults , ages 18 and older, who are underemployed, unemployed, and employed full-time for an employer, without seasonal adjustment. “Underemployed” respondents are employed part time, but want to work full time, or they are unemployed.

It didn’t have to be this way. Policies have consequences, and failed policies inflict misery.
