OK, I’ve about had it with this gas crap. If station after station is selling out of gas in the Charlotte area, then manifestly the price is too low for market conditions.

We can talk all we want about gas “shipments,” have the mayor and God knows who else calling around about gas, the local media shamelessly compounding the issue with hyperventilating reporting, but if the price is too low, the stuff is still gonna disappear.

Were gas $6 or $7 a gallon, how many folks would be filling 5 gal. gas cans and topping off non-stop? Oh, that’s right. The state of North Carolina will investigate you for “price gouging” if the price is deemed “too high” by…the state of North Carolina.

Idiots. This is a wholly avoidable situation, a government failure of massive proportions.
