John Rosemond’s Parenting column in today’s Raleigh News & Observer has some interesting things to say about the stupid self-esteem movement and its consequences. In it he also echoes some ideas I wrote about in a recent Daily Journal.
Bottom line: lack of truthfulness deforms the character, no matter who or how old you are—so why give your kids a misshapen view of themselves right from the get-go?
