Yes sir, super-duper. Why, a man would be crazy, just nuts to turn down a chance to move to the Triangle from Charlotte.

I mean, suppose a very high-powered and special job were to open up in the Triangle, a fella in a similar high-powered job in Charlotte would owe it to himself and his family to explore that opportunity.

Especially if all of his hard work and dedication as one of the county’s highest paid public officials was just not appreciated in Charlotte. Doubly so if his legacy in Charlotte was secure, a solid 10 miles of concrete and steel, for example.

Finally, there is the immense challenge that awaits in the Triangle — too much really. People are convinced the job is too big for any one man, that failure is all but certain. Think of the praise and tribute that will pour down on the man who accepts this task and overcomes all.
