What’s more insane than capping I-277 in Charlotte? How about Indy car racing through downtown High Point?
I hate to be a naysayer, but I can’t imagine how the city won’t have to fork out money on such a deal. I also can’t imagine how track construction won’t impede citizens making their way around town. And it’s always a red flag when a ‘consultant’ uses the term ‘wow factor.’
For what it’s worth, the N&R’s Doug Clark thinks it’s a good idea.
