I want to keep this blog a place where maybe we can improve each other’s minds instead of stepping on them. However, there is a story of incredible irony which, in my smallness, I shall not pass up. It pertains to an unnamed tax collector who recently defeated the incumbent in one of the counties out here. The victor had a record for being late with his taxes, as do I; and so the county will be garnishing his wages. Furthermore, they are relieving him of some of the duties of his predecessor and cutting his pay accordingly.
It’s amazing the depths to which I’ll stoop on a slow news day.
