That’s what Karen Goulekas tells ABC News about one shot from Al Gore’s “An Inconvenient Truth,” but it would also apply to most of the global warming alarmist argument. It seems the shot in question was stolen from a film on which Goulekas worked as visual effects supervisor. The shot, which Gore waxes rapturous over in “Truth,” is completely computer generated. Here’s part of the transcript:
SAM CHAMPION (ABC NEWS)
(Voiceover) Wait a minute, that shot looks just like the one in the opening credits of “The Day After Tomorrow.”
KAREN GOULEKAS (VISUAL EFFECTS SUPERVISOR)
Yeah, that’s, that’s our shot. That’s a fully computer generated shot. There’s nothing real in there.
