The hearing has resumed. State Bar prosecutor Doug Brocker continues questioning of Dr. Brian Meehan. He’s asking about additional samples provided to DSI.
Analysis shows results of fingernail, Dave Evans and Mangum, says Meehan. Brocker: Is there any other DNA? Meehan: Yes. Six markers present, so there have to be at least three individuals “in that mixture.” Later says markers show “David Evans could be included in that mixture.” Says “he could not be excluded.”
Brocker: Did you explain this to Nifong on May 12? Meehan: Yes.
Meehan: Another sample from the fingernail also showed that Kevin Coleman could not be excluded from the mixture.

Brocker: Did the written report you gave Nifong comport with what he had requested? Meehan: Yes. Brocker: Was this a final report? Meehan: No, Nifong said there would be more evidence items coming.
