Results look good for three legislative incumbent Democrats whose last names start with “w.”
With all precincts reporting, freshman Rep. Michael Wray wins his primary with 62 percent of the vote in the 27th District.
Rep. Edith Warren looks as if she has beaten back another primary challenge. She has 64 percent of the vote with 78 percent of the precincts reporting in the 8th District.
On the Senate side, incumbent Robeson County Democrat David Weinstein has 70 percent of the vote in his 13th District primary with 74 percent of the precincts reporting.
