I’m somewhat surprised at the move. I think it was all the folks who stood up and said they’d cancel their TW service on principle if TW implemented the $150 for uncapped broadband plan regardless if their particular bill went up or not.

That and many consumers quickly saw through the scam TW was trying to run by claiming that a tiny number of mega users were jamming up and free-riding the current system. If so, the multiple tiers and relatively low monthly usage caps did not make sense. Charge $2 or $5 or $10 per gig above much higher caps if that is the case.

I predict TW will try to grease various government palms and then come back with essentially the same plan warmed over.
