Splash, he’s also name-challenged. We recall a few months ago when he
called Barack Obama “Osama”
(note where AP buries this tidbit in the story).  Well, today he
referred to Supreme Court nominee Samuel Alito as “Alioto.” Some media
commentators seemed mystified about that pronunciation, which shows
that even legendary big-city mayors can be forgotten.
