In the Asheville Citizens-Times today, there is an
article on a City Official who is looking out for the people of Asheville. There is
only one catch this is a City Council member not a police officer.
When I read this it seems a few folks in Asheville’s City Hall have gotten “their
feathers wet” and seem to be upset that one person wants to make a
difference. I remember watching a film from the 1980s where city officials
wanted average citizens to help make the city a better place to live, the program
was called Citizens On Patrol (COP). Well what ever happen to that Neighborhood Watch?
