Tony Snow, the man who helped put Fox News on the map and who later became President Bush’s press secretary, has died of cancer at 53. Snow passed through North Carolina via Davidson College and the Greensboro Record.
He was one of the classiest people in the news business, as was Tim Russert, the “Meet the Press” host who died recently. It will be interesting to see if, by their coverage, the MSM show whether they considered Snow a colleague even though he worked at Fox for a time.
