In one of the more braindead moves I’ve seen in a while, the Town of Matthews — which is in the process of destroying its downtown with traffic calming measures — decided that the lunch rush would be a good time to shut down lanes on three approaches for Presbyterian Hospital. Not in the middle of the night, not even on a weekend. Smack dab in the middle of the day.
If you pay property tax to the Town of Matthews, I feel very sorry for you.
