Was there really any question about who the Marlins would turn to following the abrupt resignation of former Hoppers manager Edwin Rodriguez?
I like Jack McKeon not so much because he’s from Elon but because he pulled off pulled off a near miracle season with my Reds back in 1999.
Granted, the 2003 championship season during his first run with the Marlins tops that, but it also sets the bar pretty high. What are the odds he’ll pull that off again? It will be interesting to watch —Trader Jack has the ability to get into these guys’ thick skulls.
