It is official. The Mecklenburg County Board of Elections has certified the transit tax repeal for the November ballot.
What at one time looked like a long-shot to even get on the ballot now has a fighting chance — perhaps even a good chance — of passage. If that doesn’t put a smile on your face — well, don’t make me break out the heavy stuff.
