Guilford County commissioners passed a resolution at last night’s meeting saying money from sales tax revenue would go toward school construction. If the voters pass the quarter-cent sales tax increase in November, that is.
Noting that the sales tax increas on the May primary ballot failed, Commissioner Skip Alston breaks his familiar line, asking “what part of no don’t you understand, the ‘n’ or the ‘o’?”
By the way, commissioners can later change the resolution.
