Newsbusters has the transcript of Chris Matthew’s effete little game of gotcha with Ann Coulter by having Elizabeth Edwards waiting in the call-in wings for her. I’m not interested in Matthew’s show nor the histrionics of this one, but I couldn’t let Mrs. Edwards’ justification go without mention:
I was calling, you know, in the South when we, when someone does something that displeases us we want to ask them, politely, to stop doing it.
Unless, you know, it’s when he, is like, a Republican living next door. And stuff.
