If
BP devoted more resources to securing their drilling platforms and less
on ads trying to convince the world how green they are and kissing up
to the enviro lobby, the Gulf might not be in this mess. Can you spell
BEYOND PETROLEUM? So let’s see how many of their allies in the cap and
trade movement come to their defense. Of course the Obama Administration will do what it does best–i.e., it will arrange a coercive wealth transfer to BP in the form of having the taxpayer pick up the clean up costs and provide aid to fisherman for lost revenues etc., all of which should be paid by BP. And
get ready for the shakedown. I predict that BP contributions to
environmental groups and their allies in Congress over the next year
will go through the roof.
