There has already been some of the violence promised by Royal should Sarko emerge victorious, but, for the moment it looks sporadic and pro-forma. But even if it spreads and gets out of hand it doesn’t mean voters were wrong. It just shows that the opposition is anti-democratic and contemptuous of the popular will, sort of like Al Gore.
