The latest edition of the Index of Economic Freedom has just been released. While a large number of countries around the world improved their ranking, the US dropped to #9.
Back in February of 2009, Obama stated that it was a key national goal for the US to become #1 in the world with regard to the percentage of people getting college degrees. Too bad he didn’t instead make it a goal that the US should become #1 in economic freedom. THAT would actually matter, while putting more kids through college won’t.
