For starters, Keith Brown informs us in this Guarino thread on possible landfill mischief at Tuesday’s lame-duck Greensboro City Council meeting that the city has officially issued a request for proposal for a “long-term solid waste management infrastructure system” at the White Street landfill. Stay tuned.
Keith also tells us Rush Limbaugh will be moving from WSJS-AM to WGBT-FM in Greensboro next year, with Sean Hannity more than likely following.
Interesting programming note —- WGBT says Glenn Beck will run from 9 a.m. to noon, with Rush in his usual noon-3pm slot. Evening programming will include a Rush repeat —in case you didn’t catch the first run —- followed by former WBT personality Jason Lewis, who now broadcasts out of Minneapolis.
Note to my liberal readers: I fully recognize the irony of combining ‘garbage’ and ‘Rush Limbaugh’ in one post.
