Pretty incredible Winston-Salem Journal article contemplating “woulda, coulda, shoulda” surrounding the taxpayer-financed downtown baseball stadium.
Billy Prim shoulda presented a stadium design when negotiating with the city. Mayor Allen Joines coulda let city staff know the stadium’s cost were rising. And City Council member Robert Clark says they woulda required private financing before the city put up money had they known Prim would have financing problems.
Too late now.
