W-S taxpayer-funded stadium: ‘Just a matter of time’

Speaking of Winston-Salem spending taxpayer money, the Dash has announced it will play its home games at Ernie Shore Field through June 17.

Clever wording, considering the fact that the team has no idea when its new taxpayer-funded downtown stadium will be finished. President and General Manager Kevin Terry says “(r)ight now, we just don’t know,” Terry said. “It’s going to get built. It’s going to get done — it’s all a matter of time.”
