Wade Smith, attorney for Collin Finnerty, said at a press conference just now that Finnerty wants to continue his academic study and to be an athlete on a lacrosse team but he did not say it would be at Duke. He said that decision still must be made. He made the point that Finnerty has been taking courses at Hofstra (and made an A in calculus, Smith added) and working with an organization that deals with people who lost relatives in the 9/11 attack.

Hofstra, by the way, has a great lacrosse program. New Duke coach John Danowski coached there before coming to Duke.
