Wake County Schools interim Superintendent Steven Gainey has been named superintendent of Randolph County Schools.
While Gainey had praise for the turbulent Wake school board, sister blog Right Angles can’t help but wonder about the politics behind yet another departure from a school system overseen by a supposedly nonpartisan board.
