The N&R highlights my new neighbors, the Felt family, in its front-pager on Greensboro’s 20 percent rise in home sales:

The Felt family is part of that boost in the market.

They are slicing their square footage in half and moving to a 1928 house in Fisher Park.

Their boys, Pierce, 9, and Simon, 7, are heavily involved in sports and theater downtown.

The greenway and Deep Roots Market were big draws, and James Felt’s office is nearby.

So, they’re renovating their new house and about to put the old one on the market.

The article doesn’t mention that the Felts’ new house was on the market for years, using pretty much every realtor in town. Fortunately other houses on my corner of Fisher Park haven’t taken nearly as long to sell.
