In this week’s Pope Center Clarion Call, John Eick (who interned with the Pope Center this year and is a student at Chapel Hill) writes about his experience in UNC’s “Diversity 101” training session.
So, what does “diversity training” entail? Mostly, listening to a staffer talk about a number of weak leftist tropes regarding “diversity.” That is, opinion-mongering rather than anything factual.
Ah, but John has satisfied one of the requirements toward his “Diversity Advocate” certificate!
It all seems to me a waste of time and university money.
