People are stampeding, apparently, to buy rain barrels. Why? It’s not raining.

What good is a rain barrel in a drought? And when it does rain and the drought is over, you’re going to wonder what the heck to do with that 65 gallons of rain water when your lawn is like a sponge and your garden is a bog.

Just asking.

Exit question: Why is the city promoting a single vendor who works out of his house as a source for rain barrels? Who does he know? Aren’t there any other vendors to mention?
