Here are the views of major state candidates on illegal immigration.

Check out Jim Neal’s interesting response to the ‘what he’s done’ part:

What he says:

* Opposes outright amnesty program but would support a pathway to citizenship for illegal immigrants that has a deadline for registering and a “means-based fine.”

* Enforce current immigration laws more aggressively.

* Dislikes guest worker program because it creates system of “indentured servitude” and workers have no right to collective bargaining.

What he has done:

* Sponsored a post-war Vietnamese refugee family in alliance with the International Rescue Committee.

* Says his ancestors immigrated to the U.S.
