Jackson County has need of revising its steep slope ordinance. Reasons include (1) nobody quite knows what public lands and roadways count for vantage points, and (2) people disagree on how readily readily ought to be.
On a related subject, I hate to be mean, but I was talking with somebody recently who couldn’t understand how anybody could possibly not want to require everybody to have earth-tone houses. In other words, her taste was universal and infallible, and therefore in need of establishment and enforcement.
