Remember when the de rigueur media catch phrase for George W. Bush was, “He’s a divider, not a uniter”? Turns out, though, that Obama’s uniter-divider index far exceeds W’s. In his second year in office, Obama has a 68-point gap between Democrats who like him and Republicans who like him. Bush’s, at the same time period of his term, was at 44.

Interesting that the mainstream media has not mentioned the divisive nature of Obama and his policies. Instead, they’re blaming it all on impossible-to-satisfy tea partiers and Republicans who, they imply, are racist for not flocking to Obama’s nanny-state program.

The omission is all the more fascinating because Obama has proven far more divisive than any other recent president, including Reagan (54), Clinton (56) and Nixon (41). You’d think the national media would have noticed this.
