Let’s try a thought experiment, from NC State’s “diversity czar’s” recent pronouncement, which caused nary a ripple in the academic community. What if an NC State administrator made this pronouncement?

I think the same leftists at NC State greeting the czar’s pronouncements with approval would resemble a frenzied mob of early-SNL Chevy Chases tripping over themselves while rushing to denounce this “unconscionable infringement” (or similar verbiage) upon their academic freedom. (Note for same: I am not advocating inserting the war on terror into every classroom.)
