WCQS came under fire due to a citizen complaint alleging the radio station had failed to comply with an assortment of regulations. An audit indicated the citizen had been correct, and the station has since brought itself into compliance.
Violations included failure to announce public meetings, failure to make public required documents pertaining to equal-opportunity laws, failure to disclose financial information, and failure to organize a community advisory board.
This is just another story showing how there are enough laws that any person with a spirit of retribution can nail anybody they don’t like.
