You’d think that one of the Triangle’s many wealthy liberals would have nipped Occupy Raleigh’s problem in the bud by now. The group needs a new location from which to complain about Big Bad Capitalism. While I agree with the group’s criticism of crony capitalism, even the liberals seem to have grown tired of the whining.

The owner of the encampment’s current location is evicting the protesters because of a liability issue.

The landlord, who asked not to be identified, told ABC 11 that his insurance company won’t offer liability insurance on the property and won’t cover him if the Occupiers do not have renter’s insurance.

The Occupiers currently pay $400 a month in rent, and if coverage for the property were possible, they still wouldn’t be able to afford it, said protester Derek Cronmiller.
