WRAL plans to show both the dook and Winthrop games tomorrow night — and otherwise maximize its federally authorized bandwidth by showing different NCAA games on the station’s different digital tier channels as delivered to customers via Time Warner.
I see no sign that WBTV plans to do the same, despite an even greater local level of interest the Eagles here in Charlotte and Mecklenburg County.
That’s weak, Raycom. Thought you were the sports guys.
Update: I emailed WBTV, some Raycom Media types, and the Uptown paper of record’s Mark Washburn — yet to hear anything back.
