Via Mary Katharine Ham at The Weekly Standard have a story illustrating the alternate reality of the average government employee. It seems that the number of young criminals is down in Oregon, so those who teach young criminals are having to be laid off. This is the reaction of the program’s administrator:
“Even though this is horrific, we will continue to provide the best services that we can,” Hanson said.
It’s horrific that there are fewer young criminals to teach. Sigh.
