The City of Hendersonville has agreed to waive another water impact fee. The first newsworthy event occurred when Boyd Chevrolet’s position that its new facility used far less water prevailed. Boyd got to keep its $6478 assessment. In the second case, Jeff Miller will be refunded the $10,875 impact fee he paid two years ago for moving his laundramat and installing water-conserving features. Miller campaigned for city council and won, with one of his issues being a need to lower commercial water rates.
