N.C. State, the tremendous budget challenges it faces notwithstanding, has announced plans to offer a master’s degree in the “Masters in Climate Change and Society,” this fall, if it gets the go-ahead.
One wag in our office has already deemed this degree equivalent to a master’s in “The Grooming of Unicorns.” Considering the exposure that scientific fraud in the climate change area has gotten in the past couple of years, I’m wondering in what school at N.C. State this new curriculum will be housed.
My suggestion? The College of Arts & Science Fiction.
