Literally. Allegiant Air announced today that it was starting twice a week (Mondays and Fridays) flights to Orlando Sanford airport (Orlando’s secondary airport) from Wilmington come April.
What the airline didn?t say in its PR release is that it?s ending its twice a week (Mondays and Fridays) flights to Orlando Sanford airport from Kinston at the end of March. And so Kinston joins Moore County (Southern Pines) and Hickory as North Carolina communities that again have lost all scheduled airline service.
